my mistake.
(as were all the typos on the inner art... oops)

the correct branch for may 16 - june 30 would now be, er... me.
neily@netreach.net with a warning that i may be a tad slow, but what are ya
gonna do.

sorry for the misunderstanding.

"clampdown" on this album...]

i've just been looking around various sites, deciding whether or not to buy
this album and i can say that i've not seen any good reviews yet!  certainly
not from the amazon.com site and not from our fellow listee, lisa!  :)

anyways, from my surfing, i found out that it was released yesterday in the
states, and i still can't find out whether it's been released here in the uk
yet or not.  there's also a comment from amy about the legacy of the clash
at the epic site:

indigo girls' amy ray:

"i didn't hear the clash until i was in college-the time of my great musical
awakening-and it was my introduction to the world of punk. i thought, 'oh,
okay, the sixties don't have a monopoly on politicized music-they never
did.'

"along with opening the pandora's box of philosophical
punk music, the clash led me back to the activism of early folk and the
organic political movements that exist
throughout music, throughout time, regardless of genre."
