still bitter over missing emily sing with vonda on
regis or whatever it was, i decided to check out
rockon tv's site and found out they're rerunning the
girls' austin city limits this weekend. (not that i
can watch it stupid pbs channel that doesn't carry
acl.) it also appears that vh1 is re-airing their 100
greatest women of rock'n'roll again on saturday for
anyone who missed that (or wants to see the little
minute and a half clip of ig for the tenth time).

excuse me while i go send really mean email to my
local pbs affiliate. again.

i made a reservation for 10:30am on saturday the 4th for 12 people so far.
will all those who do intend to make it email me and let me know if you will
be bringing someone so i can get a headcount and adjust the reservation, if
need be? if you need a ride or something, let me know. i've got a van that
can seat 6. although i should get to bumbershoot by noon at the latest
(thanks goes to the wife who will open things up that morning so i can have
fun with y'all).

and now for a weather update:
as if this will have any bearing between now and friday and our weathermen
are notoriously bad at predicting mother, but they say to expect rain for
the rest of the week (as sunshine spills across my keyboard). check your
sources though, because someplace else said partly sunny. just bring a
jacket cuz it has been getting pretty nippy at night!
