we're coming at you live from the after-show gathering!!!!!

first of all, amy and emily were so chatty and pleased to be playing for us
tonight!  they chatted a lot, and confessed they were very nervous,
especially since they were playing with a new band.  actually, it was the
same lineup as lilith, except for the new drummer, whose last name is
cunningham.  he was very funky!

the sound was great, the girls were happy and said they were just gonna have
fun tonight, the moon was full...and they sang ghost!!! ahhhhh!!!! fashion
report: amy wore those pale blue leather pants and the shirt she wore on the
pay per view special (ugh!); emily had on these cool blue camoflauge plants,
white tee-shirt and black overshirt.

the setlist (a couple of songs may be out of order):

chickenman (no soc, but still cool!)
power of two (they let us sing more than the usual parts:)

chiapas bound (a surprise!!!)

kid fears (we sang the michael stipe parts)

i must note that amy and emily asked us if we thought they should learn a new
song to close the show with.  they took a vote and the audience
overwhelmingly voted to keep closer to fine, so they obliged us.  they did it
with no guests, though.  we sang the third verse!  a little bird told me that
someone booted the show and that they boot turned out really well.  that
little bird will sing when it's time to organize a boot tree. :o)

earlier, emily came out and sang on one of stereo popsicle's songs. s.p.
rocked. they were tight, funky and had fun. i was so impressed with them.
i'm sure i have forgotten something, so i'm going to turn the floor over to
the one and only beccie lyon....

well, first of all i want to say that my seat was awesome. 3rd row center
right in frount of amy!!!!! oh my god!!!!  and while amy was singing chiapas
bound everyone around me sat down but i stood there spell bound sing every
word eyes locked with amy's and she smiled at me!!!!!!!!! no darlins i aint
exagerating. after wards she said that she was glad to see us doing what we
felt and not paying attention to what everyone else was doing!!!!!!!!  can
you tell i am just so excited!!!! well, the guards let us into the space
between the stage and the first w\row, actually helped people over the
seats...and there we were up to the stage singing and dancing. and loving
every minute of it....now i am turning it over to the lovely freida!!!
        thank you beccie, i am feeling very lovely after this incredible
show....i really only have one thing to say....damn!!!!!!!  i was totally
blown away by go and i haven't found my feet again yet.
nancy:  i just have to say that this has been by far teh best concert i have
been to.  i sent a package backstage to the girls that included one of my
stories and a photograph collage cover.  i hope they actually got it.
anyway, the audience participation was excellent!!!!  i think a&e enjoyed it
more than performing.  we were "excellent singers".  we even did michael
stipe's part in kid fears like pros.  this is one event that i will treasure
forever.

and so we leave you now to continue basking in the afterglow of this
wonderfully warm, fuzzy concert. we're jamming with guitars, egg and
tambourine to thin line as i type. :o)
