hi all

ok i just went to ticketmaster and the show is listed!!!!!!!!! the on sale
date for tixmaster is 2/16/00 wednesday at 10:00am. i went to ticketmaster
to pa then looked up venues for f&m college.

i guess the college is selling tix to the students first. does anyone know
if the college will take phone charges on 2/1/00????

i found this new information on the old ig site on the "news" page, which
apparently is still being updated. the actual tour page still says check
back later for more info though. but at least this has some more
information on the daytona beach stop, which is still listed as "tba"
everywhere else!

indigo girls radio & college tour!
indigo girls will be performing a series of radio shows and college gigs as a
duo (amy & emily only- no band). they will be heading to australia in march
for a tour down under with the full band. here's where you can find amy and
emily on the road:

2/5 - tampa wssr- gasparilla street festival/city street festival
2/7 - daytona beach wkfs radio show
2/14 - norfolk wpte radio show
2/17 - storrs, ct university of ct - college show
2/18 - rochester, ny wzne radio show

i called about the fmu show today. it is confirmed for feb. 24th, the
tickets will not be going on sale however, until feb. 1st.

i think that y'all who are coming here for the show are going to be a little
pissed about the seating.  i found out on friday that the way it works is that
the floor is general admission and the stadium seats on the sides and the back
are numbered seats.  in addition, you can only buy floor seats at the box
office, and not over the phone.  the only people who can be on the floor
are the
ones with floor tickets, so don't be planning on rushing the stage unless you
want to get in trouble with security.

as far as the seating chart goes, i've never been in the convo center, so i
can't help you there. i guess it'll just have to be a surprise!
