i really enjoyed the show.  the vegan guy (i forget his name) was really
funny, and julia "butterfly" hill was so inspirational. i'm gonna have to
get her book.  when michael franti did his a capella thing about the guy
getting shot by the cop there were tears in my eyes.

the indigo girls didn't really talk much.  they left most of the talking to
tracy conaty, because she was also presenting on gay rights.  they played
go and it's alright.  afterwards i went up so they would sign my ticket
stub, and amy said she liked my shirt and that it was one of her favorite
bands.  i was so nervous that all i could think of to say was "thank you."

jammin' on main tonight was also great.  besides all the drunk pushy people
around me, i had a good time.  this was my ninth show, and i *finally* got
to hear romeo and juliet live.  this was also only the second time i've
seen them play chickenman, which is another one of my very favorites.
chickenman is actually the very first song i've ever seen them play live,
and that was such a wonderful memory that it makes me like the song even
more.  i have no idea what the set list was in order and i have an icky
memory, but other songs i remember them playing were go, it's alright,
hammer and a nail (yes!), least complicated, galileo, closer to fine,
ozilline, cold beer, get out the map, gone again...i know there were a
couple others.  emily played one of her ballads, but i'm so tired that i
can't think of which one for the life of me.  i know it'll pop into my head
sometime.  this wasn't the best indigo girls show i have ever been to (that
prize still goes to bumbershoot), but amy and emily were definately in
awesome moods and i really enjoyed that they played so many of my favorite
songs.  it ranks very high.
