there is a picture of the indigo girls and queen latifah in today's (5 july) chicago tribune. it is in the womanews section on page 3. the article is about queen latifah's show, so it's nigc. (but queen latifah is damn cool on her own anyway). anyway...

my sister has to sell her two 2nd row center seats for the san diego show on
7/25. she just wants face value and would love to see a true fan get them.

section: b2, row 2, seats 106 and 107 -- they include dinner at the
restaurant.
face value is $76.50 x 2 = $153. (+ ticketmaster service charge $11.50) =
$164.50

i haven't seen anyone else mention it, so here goes.

sunday night on foodtv they did a show called roadie chefs where they showed
the behind the scenes catering that goes on at concerts.  a large segment of
the show was about a non-profit organization "rock and wrap it up", if my
memory serves me right.  this organization is affilliated with lots of bands
touring around the country, and after the band has finished with their food,
the leftovers are wrapped up and delivered to soup kitchens in the local
area.  there are volunteers in many cities that deliver the food.

all in all it was pretty cool, thing, now for the igc......during this
segment, they interviewed both amy and emily regarding donating their food.
i was only half awake so i won't even attempt to paraphrase what they said,
but if you see it on another time, it was definitely worth checking out. i
checked out foodtv.com to see if i could find when it might air again, but i
didn't have any luck.
