hey, all--my ears just perked up when i heard "indigo girls"
on tv in the other room...not sure if it's a repeat or not, but
the headline news thing was talking about their boycott of sc
("indigo girls won't be playing in south carolina anytime
soon"), and i ran in the room in time to see a concert clip of
the girls from a long time ago (amy's hair was short). it
mentioned that amy ray was a proud southerner but didn't
believe in the confederate flag, etc. (stuff we knew already).
just thought i'd share...i'm sure cnn will repeat it in an
hour or so.

btw, i thought id post this and id share a lil bit of info! i would love to
see which artists have been interviewed from lilith! i think many
underestimated the emmense undertaking this festival was, and im sure this
will give us all a glimse into the enormous shows!! have a great
day!

lilith fair documentary on the way

(mtv.com) - fans looking to bring the phenomena of the lilith
fair festival back into focus are in
luck. a documentary about the female-focused tour is about to
wrap production and may be ready
to make its debut at the toronto film festival this
september. according to producer dean
english, three versions of the concert footage will surface:
a theatrical release, running 95 minutes in
duration, geared towards film festivals; and two different
television specials, running one and two
hours each, for network broadcast. at least one version of
the documentary will also be sold as a
commercial release.

english promises the documentary will not just focus on the
on-stage performances, but will
provide an overview of the entire lilith fair experience.
devotees can look forward to interviews
with founder sarah mclachlan, her colleagues, her band, the
crew, the audience, as well as
performers from all three of the festival's stages. for more,
