can't wait for february! do any of you have the dvd versions of
watershed and live at the fillmore? i just got a dvd player for
christmas..it's my first one ever, i've never watched a dvd, so tell me
are these dvds mentioned above any different from the vhs versions i
have? if so, how?
i can't wait to go get them. by the way, itseems to me that live from
greatwoods was on dvd
for a short time from the ig website in 1997. has anyone seen that, or
is it just my imagination? (sigh)
oh well!
have happy new year, and don't do what i wouldn't do, which probably
eliminates most of
your activities! :-) :-) :-)

i have both of them on dvd. the watershed one is fairly identical - i just
like being able to skip easily from video to video track without having to
go through the rest of the 'chat' - especially if i just want to show
someone a certain video. the sound is awesome if you have surround sound or
a home theater - which is mostly why i bought watershed on dvd and sold my
vhs copy.
my 22 cents.

greetings and happy new year to everyone. just a note to let you know
that the new single is called "moment of forgiveness".
it ships to radio on january 15th and we will go for adds soon
thereafter. you will know it as soon as you hear the first notes -
sung by amy with no instrumentation, followed by a wurlitzer piano and
then drums, guitars and bass - trademark harmonies
by emily throughout the choruses. best regards, russell

hey everyone!
happy new year and what a start we have..."moment of forgiveness" as the new
single?! if this is that kind of old song that appears on a few scattered
bootlegs, i'm about to yell *really* loudly for joy. :) that song got me
through this semester and i thought to myself...it sucks that i'll never
hear this live or on an album. i thought it would be another one of those
songs that would be left behind because it meant too much or was too close
to an event (ie breakup). anyway, i'm excited if you couldn't guess and i
just had to share. :) maybe it's a different song-which is just as
exciting--i can't wait for the album! i hadn't looked at any of the posts
about the track list because i want to be surprised. still do, in fact. but
this was a nice piece of news for the new year. can't wait to hear it on the
radio!
gotta stop rambling now....
cheerio!

well i guess that i was lonely
that's why i called you on the phone
cause in a moment of forgiveness
i didn't want to be alone
and i guess that i was willing
more than i ever was before
cause in a moment of forgiveness
i come knocking at your door
baby i woke up crying last night
just to realize that you were gone
has it been two long years without you
tell me now when are you gonna come home
i guess now i'm hoping
oh that you finally understand
and in a moment of forgiveness
you reach out and take my hand

this short scouting trips. we're very good guests and will be happy to buy

mime-version: 1.0

hkf's,

i read mikes recent e-mail about loosing seven gig of mp3's.
folks truth of the matter is that we use the word 'crash' way to often when
refering to our hard drives.
don't let someone tell you you lost all your files and you have to format the
drive and reinstall windows.
if you are having problems with the computer just reinstall windows.
re-formating is not mandatory. most likley you didn't loose all your files,
you lost a couple of key windows files that make it look as if you lost
everything.
total data loss is an extreamly rare occurance, but formating a perfectly
good drive before re-installing an operating system has become way to common.
it does not have to be done that way.
if that ever happens to anyone, where the computer won't start or something,
do not format the drive. if you think windows needs to be reinstalled just do
that, you will most likley find that everything is where it was. at worst,
you will have to reinstall some other software, but the mp3's, the book
you've been writing, and all those dirty pics you've downloaded will still be
there.
please tell your friends about this, i hear too often about people formating
there data away.
wishing you all a happy and healthy mp3 life of no further data loss,
joe

wednesday, march 6th, the award-winning lesbian themed romantic comedy film "kissing jessica stein" will screen at outfest in west hollywood at 7:30pm at ed gould plaza, 1125 n. mccadden place, near the corner of santa monica and highland.
i cannot recommend this very clever and very funny movie highly enough. as i have written before, this project reminds me of the film "moonstruck", except that the central relationship is between two women.
call 323-960-2394 to reserve tickets, reservations can be made 24-7 but only by phone. pay at ed gould plaza the night of the screening. $7 general admission, $6 students/seniors and outfest members.
hope you can make it, i can't wait to see it again!

you could probably pre-order it anywhere now if you so desired, but most
everywhere'll be stocking it anyway. there's talk of a 5 track bonus cd with
pre-orders or purchases but this'll probably be tied to some specific
retailer like the borders bonus disc for retrospective. nothing's been
announced yet, so y'all are better off holding out on pre-ordering just
yet...

(self addressed stamped envelope for those of you who do not know the term)
and i will burn them as i get them. no need to email me, if you are doing

each boot is 2 cds, so send 4 if you want both and two if you only want one
and specify with your package what you would like. there is cover art for
both and you will also receive that with your boots.
by the way, i listened to the saratoga show again yesterday and it is not
all that bad. it is a good recording overall, with a little bit of unwanted
noise.
ok, that's it.

hi all,
for anyone interested in the drew university concert in madison, nj, i called
the university to find out about tickets. i was told tickets will be through
ticketmaster only, and the seating will be general admission only. also,
tickets are not yet available for sale, as they are "still in negotiations
with the band." the guy i spoke with said it will probably be a few weeks
before they went up for sale, but he didn't sound certain as to when, so i
will be checking frequently. madison is only two towns and 20 minutes away
from me, so i am psyched.

hi y'all,
if i'm really late to the party, i apologize, but i
came across a book called "how long till my soul gets
it right?: 100 doorways on the journey to happiness."
it's a self-help book, and on page one of the preface,
the author (robert alter) gives credit where we know
it's due:
"in 1992, the indigo girls came out with their great
song "galileo," which is an exhilarating, foot-tapping
look at life, truth and psychological and spiritual
growth. "galileo" is one of those songs that once it
gets in your head, it's hard to get out, especially
these two lines from the refrain:
how long till my soul gets it right?
did any human being every reach the highest light?"

thought you'd all be interested...
