there was a problem with some tickets issued for the pier shows in
seattle. because of this problem i encourage anyone who is planning on
attending the indigo girls show and/or any other pier shows to buy your
tickets directly from one reel or from ticketmaster before the shows
sell out. tickets bought 2nd hand may not be reliable & you might be
refused entry into the show. i don't work for either company so if you
have any other questions, you should direct them to where you bought the
tickets. if you bought them direct from one reel or tm you don't need to
worry about it.=20

howdy ya'll,
someone-sorry i forgot whom!-sent in a site that had
some pictures of the girls when they played somethin'
called the river's first birthday party, and there's a
picture of amy with the caption of "party" underneath
it on the thumbnail page that shows her playing her
guitar and there's *somethin'* either on her hand or
her thumb or just *something* that has a bit of neon
pink in it and i'm wondering what in the world it
is...
if anyone has any idea of it's just some musical
divice or whatever, i'm really interested to know, or
if it's just a capo that looks strange to me or what.
thanks! peace and love!

speaking of group shows, does anyone remember an indigo girls appearance on
austin city limits in which they did a group performance of a keith richards
(????) song? i totally don't know if i am right on that. i'm thinking this
happened around 1992. they were with mary chapin carpenter and nanci
griffiths, and some others. if anyone has a copy of this, i would pay dearly
for it. if not, does anyone know what i'm talking about, or how to go about
getting a tape of that show? i taped it and my roommate taped over it with

howdy,
now, is this austin city limits performance on the "on
the road to austin" vid? because i've got that and
only watched it once-boy do *i* not have time...-but i
thought i remembered at least one song off of that
performance... anyway, if anyone does have the full
show i'd really love a copy too. i'll trade for a
boot or just send b/p for the video.
i'm also looking for a few other indigo girls video
appearances, like anything they've done on oxygen, or
the cbs morning show appearance they just had
recently, or the videos they've done after the
watershed video was released, or just anything not on
the four professional videos for sale and the on the
road to austin video, because being a new fan means
i've missed out on a lot of video ops.
so anyone who can help me, i'd really be willing to
accomodate it so that it would be worth their while as
well! peace and love and happy almost may!!

i don't know. i haven't seen that video. it was on the pbs program "austin
city limits" a long time ago. is it a group performance with griffiths and
chapin carpenter and others? if so, maybe they clipped it onto the "on the
road to austin" video.

a copy of that austin city limits show i would love one also, that is when i
fell in love w/ ig music, i was a very big mcc fan and that was why i was
watching it, i was blown away by their performance, and then the next night
saw them perform on late night w/ letterman and i was hooked!!!

not that the cut offs were important, just that whenever i saw anything about ig to my father he goes into this whole monologue about not knowing who they were and tuning into austin city limits and being blown away by this dark haired woman who was just up there in an old sweatshirt and a pair of cut offs banging on a guitar. (that's almost word for word.)

i have a tape of the girls on acl with guests freedy johnston, vonda shepard,
and mark eitzel. the girls did "shame on you", emily did "baby, don't you
break my heart slow" w/ vonda, and a group performance of "get out the map"
and "closer to fine" i'm not really sure of the date. anyone out there who
could tell me when this was? had to be in the sots era i would think....

i was watching the real world a little bit ago, and 2 of the gals on there,
cara and aneesa (not sure how to spell their names correctly) sang power of
two together during the unveiling of the mural they had worked on with some
children. i think that is the most i have ever heard from the girl's on mtv,
and it wasn't even *officially* them...heh.
have a good night!
