seventeen lists with 15 names, i accidently forgot to add kirsten
schaney and jill chambers to some of the lists (sorry kirsten and
jill!!!)
so check your lists to see if you have 15 names, if you are short

you also would do well to add kirsten and jill to your lists if they
aren't already there.

hey all, wxrt sent me an email saying there will be a pre-sale for a feb. 6
acoustic ig show in chicago. the code word is "acoustic." i called
ticketmaster and they said they think the pre-sale starts at 10 on friday.
according to the wxrt email, they should be on sale already. these pre-sales
are confusing and frustrating.

with the gift-giving season upon us, signature sounds is proud to present
two special fundraising compilation cd's that offer great music and the
chance to donate to worthy charities. both wonderland - a winter's
solstice collection and respond ii are gifts that you can feel good about
giving.

respond ii
respond ii is a compilation of 32 female artists including 15
grammy-nominated performers, with all proceeds
benefiting families affected by domestic violence. the compilation will
release nationally on january 22, but through a special pre-release offer

<http://www.signaturesounds.com/>
respond ii is a 2-cd set that features special tracks and previously
unreleased material from a variety of female performers, ranging from the

to the gospel-infused sweet honey in the rock. respond ii also includes t=
anya donnelly (the breeders, belly), sleater-kinney, aimee mann, the legend=
ary joan baez, bluegrass diva dolly parton, and world music chart-toppers a=
ngelique kidjo and bebel gilberto plus a variety of other talented artists =
both well-known and up-and-coming. the compilation offers alt country, blu=
egrass, r&b, latin pop, folk, world, punk, and indie rock, among many other=
s sounds. the full list of contributors includes:

i received this xrt email as well (hi michele) and was thoroughly confused
yesterday. the ticketbastard site now reads that the presale will indeed
begin on friday 12/6 at 10 am. regular on sale is saturday at noon. great
to know ig will be back in chicago. they're playing the chicago theater
which i feel is a beautiful and classy venue.
i continue to be baffled and befuddled by the consistent ticket sale tie in
with radio stations and presales and internet crap. what ever happened to
just waiting in line to get good seats. it's crazy. the xrt email did
imply immediate availability of presale. made for a painful never ending
search yesterday. we'll see what works tomorrow morning :). --g

i am still deciding whether or not to buy tickets to chicago. if i got
tickets, i'd have to book a flight and (possibly) contend with the evil evil
chicago winters. however, on the other hadn, it would be nice to take my
mother to an ig show. :)
anyway, i am so confused by the xrt radio presale thing. and i am so sick
of these pre sales! they just make everything so much more confusing. and
they don't always release the best seats for the presale. hmmm...
anyway, i suppose i'll just get up early tomorrow (i have my alarm set for
7:50am my time) and decide then. if i do decide to get tickets, i hope i can
get good seats. i will not fly to chicago for mediocre seats.
switching gears here... who is coming to the cupertino show? i'll be there
for sure! i'll be wearing my floppy hat with alligators on it, and will be
somewhere in row b. if you are there, come say hi!

refreshing & had to be one of the first in & pulled 11th row. i think better
seats will come open with the regular sale.

well, at least that is fixed. yeah, i can't get good seats either. at least
nothing good enough to warrant flying to chicago. i am going to wait for

i am pretty sure the seating at the venue goes from aa-z, not a-zz.
also be careful, y'all! if you are just glancing quickly, floor section 4l
looks the same as loge section 4l. for those of you (like me) who have to
sit on the main floor, watch out! double check before you submit your order.
ok, this will seriously be my last post for the day...

as usual the presale internet deal was a fiasco for chicago. i got row m
after fumbling around with george strait passwords. the ticketbastard reps
on the phone actually told me to go to the george strait website to look for
a password as there might be a tie in. i was like--as if! ig would not be
playing with that old country bumpkin. so they finally fix the site and i
get row m. the venue does indeed start with aa so row m is like row 40. so
glad i had early access. not! i hate presales and internet crap and
especially ticketbastard. there i feel better...at least i'm going :).--g

as we're only a week away from the kfog concert for kids in cupertino,
why don't those of us going check in with their seating assignments.
that way we'll know who we'll be singing and dancing with, as well as
whose view we will block by constantly standing.
coincidentally, my ig buddies and i also ended up with row b, just like
karen. i will again be the sole representative of the the y chromosome,
an honor i enjoy.

row b:

michael (me wearing the oldest gathering of the tribes tour shirt in

rhondda
janet
heather
teri
speak up, others. how about the crew from sacto?

hi michael - i figured we might run into you all in cupertino! amy and i (mike is staying home w/our son) will be there - and should be quite close, as we have row a (well, our tix actually say orchestra section, row 1, seats 15 & 17, so unless they created new rows in front, i would hazard a guess that is right in front of you!)
who knows what we will be wearing, but i think you know who we are by now! if you want to meet beforehand for a drink or something, email me privately and we can try and put something together - we are going to spend the night there, too, at a nearby hotel, so afterwards might work, too!

is lucky for me because i, like you karen, am very short). katherine, how
old is your daughter? this should be about my 15th concert, too. can't wait

along to a few songs, which one should i buy? thanks everyone.
