hi all,

for anyone interested in the drew university concert in madison, nj, i called
the university to find out about tickets.  i was told tickets will be through
ticketmaster only, and the seating will be general admission only.  also,
tickets are not yet available for sale, as they are "still in negotiations
with the band."  the guy i spoke with said it will probably be a few weeks
before they went up for sale, but he didn't sound certain as to when, so i
will be checking frequently.  madison is only two towns and 20 minutes away
from me, so i am psyched.

wendi

hi y'all,
if i'm really late to the party, i apologize, but i
came across a book called "how long till my soul gets
it right?: 100 doorways on the journey to happiness."
it's a self-help book, and on page one of the preface,
the author (robert alter) gives credit where we know
it's due:

"in 1992, the indigo girls came out with their great
song "galileo," which is an exhilarating, foot-tapping
look at life, truth and psychological and spiritual
growth. "galileo" is one of those songs that once it
gets in your head, it's hard to get out, especially
these two lines from the refrain:
how long till my soul gets it right?
did any human being every reach the highest light?"

thought you'd all be interested...
