just a quick note, a friend has landed up with a spare ticket for the
glasgow concert that she can't use - anyone interested in going, it'll
obviously be the same price as the fruitmarket (no $150 rip off i promise

hello

my name is steph and i am involved in the v-day event at drew university in
madison, nj which will feature a concert by the indigo girls and a
production of the vagina monologues on february 28, 2002. in order to sell
out our 4,000 seat capacity it is so important that we reach as many people
(especially ig fans) as possible. i was wondering if you could possibly
send out this information to your mailing list(s). tiickets went on sale
through ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone, and ticketmaster.com last
week and are just $35. all the proceeds from this event will go to the
jersey battered women's services and project s.a.f.e. in keeping with
v-day's theme, to end violence against women. below you will find all the
info -- feel free to cut and paste and send out. thanks so much for your help.

the vagina monologues, the indigo girls, and olympia's daughters on
february 28, 2002!
drew v-day 2002 tickets are now being sold through ticketmaster outlets,
charge by phone 201-507-8900, and ticketmaster.com for $35 dollars. tickets
are limited!!! parking is at madison high school, and there will be a $2
dollar shuttle service to drew university . the performances begin at 7 pm
and doors open at 5 pm. we encourage everyone to come early and bring
cushions for lawn-style seating, since you'll want to be comfortable for
this three-hour jam-packed event! there will be a number of informational
booths and action groups on women's issues, specifically focusing on
violence against women, sexuality, body image, and reproductive rights to
make this event as memorable and illuminating as possible. if you would
like to make a donation to help maximize our contribution (all profits from
this event) to the jersey battered women's services and project s.a.f.e.,
please mail a check made payable to drew university v-day 2002 and mail to
jen allman, cm-17, p.o. box 802, madison, nj 07940.
