shamelessly stolen (and adapted) from the aimee mann list:

there's a live acoustic performance of "gone again" on city folk live iii, a
cd released by a bronx public radio station called wfuv. in order to get
it, you need to make a $100 donation, but their membership provides so many
discounts and benefits that if you live in the nyc area and are subscribed
to a list such as this one it will most likely pay for itself.

here's the tracklist for city folk live iii. all the recordings are
live in-studio performances.

yes, you can get a copy of both the manchester and glasgow boots (january
31,2002 and february 1, 2002) just by sending 4 blank cdrs to one of the
volunteers listed below,

the recordings were made by claudine lapsky who is a dedicated fan and
experienced booter of shows.  she has generously lent these boots for all
to enjoy.

liners are available for the discs.  i'm currently looking for a person
who will kindly let me stowe the liners somewhere on the web so everyone
can have access to them via their own printers.  even if you don't have a
color printer, these liners are great.

the manchester show has such great old songs such as watershed, johnny
rottentail, reunion, and of course chickenman.
new songs include moment of forgiveness, collecting you, starkville,
yield, philosophy of loss.

the glasgow boot has deconstruction, she's saving me, faye tucker, our
deliverance to name a few.  the audio is excellent on both boots.

ok, so i have talked you into it =)

to get your copies, first contact one of the volunteers for the address
and if you want to arrange a trade, feel free to do so.  then you can skip
the rest of these instructions.

get your blanks together and if they are still shrink wrapped, take off
that cellophane.

put them in a padded envelope.  you really don't have to send cases.  cds
are pretty indestructible; a padded envelope would do.  put an address
label in there with your return address on it.

have it weighed at the post office and ask them how much it would cost to
return the envelope to you.  put that amount in stamps in the inside of the
envelope.  just don't put a metered stamp on your return envelope if you
choose to include one.  they are dated and you never know when this package
will be returned.

seal it and mail it.  wait.  anticipate. :)

ok, here are the volunteers.  only marian is a full-time college student
with precious time to devote to this task.  the others are either (1)
recovering from the flu or (2) recovering from jet lag due to
road-tripping.  so be kind and don't expect instant gratification =)
