in the middle (loge l, row b, seats 5 and 6).
unfortunately, i can't go and i am way bummed. i am really hoping to see
these get used by another enthusiastic fan!! i am asking what i payed
for them, which is $89.59, with the ticketbastard charges.
reply backchannel if you are interested.

a quick note, and please excuse my language but last night so fucking rocked !!!!!
the girls were awesome, the irish singer was amazing (and woo hoo to seth), and the crowd was brilliant.
they seemed really chatty which was great and said they loved edinburgh (go dun eidan !!!). emily said she had been to a tartan shop that day and amy had been round some art galleries and loved the scottish stuff. the quote to make the papers was when amy commented on the hall looking like a church but they served beer inside, and if churches had been like that when she was twelve she might have gone more often
i cant give you a run down of songs because i gave my setlist to the nice person who gave me one of amy's strings, but they ended with chickenman/bitteroot. cant wait to hear a boot !!!
completely without any permission, the review of the concert from the edinburgh evening news.==
long may the indigo girls keep raining . .

indigo girls
the queens hall
****
outside the queens hall there was a downpour so torrential that randy newman might have been moved to write a song about it had he been in town, but the elements were powerless to dissuade the adoring legions of indigo girls fans that soon had the old room bursting at the seams.
as the crowd dried off we were treated to the exceptional vocal talents of austrian singer-songwriter pina, a young woman whose size belies her ability to out-holler pearl jams eddie vedder.
along with the occasionally over-the-top electric guitarist who accompanies her, she still needs to learn a little restraint and has yet to write a real standout song, but anyone interested to hear more can see her at la belle angele supporting real world labelmate joseph arthur at la belle angele this friday.
then the delightful cara dillon made dozens of new fans with her mix of irish traditionals and lovelorn songs of sad introspection. however, she was well aware that the fanatic crowd were politely hearing her out, itching to hear the headliners.
when amy ray and emily saliers took to the stage they received the sort of welcome that any artist would gladly give up thousands of hours of radio airplay for. while this duo arent exactly household names, the households that do know them love them a great deal.
failing the odd string breaking - as one did during the tumultuous protest song faye tucker (about a woman on death row) - there was little that went wrong.
ray and saliers sing and play together so well that there is no possibility of not getting a top-notch show. they are almost obliged to throw in the celebratory closer to fine, the first song from their first album way back in 1989, but it was testament to their continued brilliance that the title track from their brand new album, become you, outshines any other in the set.
both ray and saliers were intrigued with the architecture inside the queens hall, and were more than happy to play in what looks like a temperance church while half the audience sip beer and wine.
"yknow," said ray, "if church had been more like this i might have kept going along when i was 12."
