i have a pretty good show that i just got, and wanted
to offer up to the list as a trade only (please, no
b&p's right now).  the show is from central park's
summerstage on 9/20/92, and is on two discs.  the
setlist is below:

land of canaan
welcome me
hammer and a nail
tangled up in blue
three hits
ghost
joking
let it be me
nashville
love will come to you
chickenman
virginia woolf
bartender's blues
closer to fine
galileo
down by the river
love of the common people

the show is a great one to have, because its one of
only five times (at least according to lifeblood) that
they did bartender's blues, a cover of a james taylor
song.

please email me at icyspook@yahoo.com with boot lists,
and we'll work something out :)

no. this show is just like a show where they were on fire for the entire
show - trying to think of other rop era shows - the greek show that never
surfaced was good,  brandeis 12/4/92 was amazing, as was bates 12/5/92 (did
anyone convert those to cd - i taped both those - well sort of with some
help from a no-longer friend.)

maybe the portland, or 8/21/92 show was close, or the '92 summer show steve
spencer taped, or the rcmh shows, but the central park show seemed like
soooooooooo energenic compared to anything else in 92 - yeah - the 10
dollar tour had some great sets, but this disc has it all...

offer it on sharingthegroove in bittorrent....:)

already sent my request - my trading list is nonexistant as it is just too
many bootlegs - not bragging - more like ocd of many different bands.

nawe!! sorry to say, but this list ebbs and flows.....unfortunately it's
been ebbing forever,
and i often wonder myself why i'm still on board. it's not the same as
it once was.....i used
to have to clean my box every four days just to keep up with the high
volume. getting 80 emails a week was nice.

now? i'm lucky if i get ten in a week.  i mean where is everyone?

still clinging to the hope that this list will come
back to life.

i haven't been to an indigo girls' concert in over a year; since their

hear things on this list rather than check the bbs of the official website;
it's overwhelming, and i'd rather hear from the fans who know about this

i completely agree with what diane wrote.  this list is a treasure.  the
people on here are amazing and have a wealth of knowledge.  while i do like
the bbs, i prefer things here as well.
i remember when i first joined this list (now 6 years ago) i couldn't
believe all the amazing things i learned from people.  and the awesome
trading that went on.  my boot collection is what it is only because of this
list.  neil especially.  i still love the songs on my to be expected cd.
i am certain that once our girls start causing more activity the list will
pick up.  it's hard to have a lot of ig related content to post about when
nothing new is happening.  i am so excited for the new cd.  i love to read
people's reviews of them.  anyway, don't go away, the list has a pulse
unlike any other!

the band they toured with for by during the summer of 2002 was comprised of:

carol isaacs
brady blade
claire kenny (sp?)

they were the same band members that played on the album.  as some of you
may recall, ig were supposed to extend their full band tour into the fall of
2002, but one of the band members had to return home unexpectedly so carol
accompanied ig for the rest of the tour.

with regards the band...

i had reason to speak with russell last week.  clare, carol, and brady do
play on the new album.  when i asked if they would go out on the road with the
band after the new album comes out (slated for february, still no title), he
said that the band would be with them at least part of the time.  i did not
specifically ask if it would be c, c and b on the road.  (all of whom i think are
great, particularly clare.)

brady blade is currently getting set to tour with dave matthews on the dave matthews and friends tour.  he is also featured on many of the songs on dave's solo album, "some devil".  also touring on the "friends" tour will be emmylou harris who brady has toured with before.
