i have a daemon records sampler with the band cordero playing "vamos
nenas" on it. my question is do they only sing in spanish or do they mix
it up with english?
since they are opening a few shows in march including the pittsburgh
show which i am attending, i was just curious to the type of music to
expect. thanks.

it doesn't matter if the promo is free or not.  the live versions that
appear on that album are under copyright so uploading these files to
share would be akin to uploading any other commercially available ig

i asked her to pick me up a shirt
especially if they had a shirt that said i am 32 flavors and then some.
she said there were no mens shirts for sale there. they were all womans shirts and womans sizes. so my question is this
does ani hate men. i mean your cutting out some of your fan base if your not going to sell shirts for all genders.

i don't really get why this is a question for ani fans and not ani's
marketing people ... or why it is being asked on an ig list ... but here
are my two cents:

firstly, it is a big leap to question if ani hates men based on the
selection of t-shirts sold at her concert.  i don't really see what one
has to do with the other, quite honestly.

there could be really obvious reasons why there were no men's shirts for
sale -- for example, since ani's fan base is overwhelmingly female, from
a marketing standpoint, it probably isn't advantageous to spend $$$ on
producing mass quantities of shirts in men's sizes so either they
produce them in lesser quantities and they've sold out or they don't
produce them at all.  i am sure if men's t-shirts were generating lots
of revenue at ani concerts, they'd be available en masse.

ani isn't "cutting out" some of her fanbase simply by not selling shirts
in men's sizes.  presumably, her fans will continue to listen to her
music regardless of what type of merch is sold at her concerts.   =20

i have bought two men's shirt at different times, both were xl.

about half her items of clothing are for women only, the other
half are for either gender (men's sizes), she may have run out
of the men's sizes during this concert, the vast majority of her
fans are women, it makes marketing sense to focus on the market.

igs fan base is alos overwhelming female they still sell male cut shirts
as do every other band/singer i have ever seen.
if this was an all female event i could understand however it wasnt.
and beleive it or not yes some people would quit listening to her for this the same way people quit listening to metalicca over napster.
as for the person who said other side if the coin how do you figure? name me one male band or singer who only sells male shirts at their shows?
why is it being asked on the list
easy answer there
because there are lots of ani fans on here and while i like ani im not as big of  a fan as i am of the girls. ( ie i dont need to know where shes at what  shes doing etc)
as for directing it to her marketing people feel free to give me a way to contact them and i will surely do so.
discrimination no matter how you slice it sucks.

just look at it like this.

when the ig start their upcoming tour they will undoubtedly have leftover=
=20
merch from the last tour. not all sizes will be represented because they =
sold=20
well enough to sell out. this is the most likely reason for the lack of y=
our=20
size, they have simply sold out.

look at it like this you saved over twenty bucks on an over-priced t-shir=
t.

if you are calling not being able to buy a t-shirt in your size at an
ani difranco concert "discrimination," i'd say you have it pretty damn
good and need to stop whining.

i am sure if you contact ani's management company, they'd be happy to
convey your sentiments regarding merchandising to the appropriate
people. =20

igs fan base is alos overwhelming female they still sell male cut shirts
as do every other band/singer i have ever seen. if this was an all
female event i could understand however it wasnt. and beleive it or not
yes some people would quit listening to her for this the same way people
quit listening to metalicca over napster. as for the person who said
other side if the coin how do you figure? name me one male band or
singer who only sells male shirts at their shows? why is it being asked
on the list easy answer there because there are lots of ani fans on here
and while i like ani im not as big of  a fan as i am of the girls. ( ie
i dont need to know where shes at what  shes doing etc) as for directing
it to her marketing people feel free to give me a way to contact them

so, are you saying you are too masculine to wear shirts supposedly
designed for women, even if they fit you?  just because the shirt is a
little more form-fitting?  that seems a little closed-minded to me.  if
you really loved ani, you'd wear any shirt she sold, even if it was a
little more roomy in the bust area. =20

personally, i don't like the "women" sized t-shirts.  they aren't usually sized
well for those of us who are of the larger variety of women.  most of the
shirts i've seen at folk singer shows have been cut to slim for me, so i have
chosen not to buy them.  i was very impressed with the t-shirt i got from an
indigo girls show a couple of years ago.  quality material and roomy in the
bust and hips.  it's one of my favorites!

well, we've already deduced that ani hates men, except, of course, the
one she married, so why should she love you?  that's just illogical.

the sad fact of the matter is that you have been so socialized into your
gender role as a man that you are unwilling to think outside of the
proverbial box and give clothing designed for women a try. you don't
know for a fact that the women's shirt wouldn't have fit you -- you are
just making assumptions based on your socially constructed notions of
gender.

but i'd like to help you free yourself from the constraints society has
unfortunately placed on you.  please send me your address and i am going
to send you this great book called "cross-dressing for dummies," along
with a few baby tees.  it will do you a world of good.

this implies that women only wear "female cut" shirts, which we don't, and
even less so amongst ani and ig fans, i'd say.  generally there are the
"baby doll" shirts and then there are the regular old unisex shirts that
come in s, m, l and xl.  i would say that these shirts represent the
majority of t-shirt sales and were just sold out.  the whole idea that ani
was intentionally trying to dsicriminate against men by not having these
shirts is absurd.

also, this is my own pet peeve since i am a sociologist, but i hate when
people use the word gender when they mean sex.

personally.....i'm a xxx size and have not been able to get a single ig
t-shirt  since 1999
because they don't carry 3x sizes at shows. i
would shell out a few extra bucks if i could come and wear my loyalty
all over my heart,
for once....rather than get it at the web site...there just isn't
anything too sentimental
in orderring from a website.

peace all!!

you know, you can actually go on ani's web site and order any number of
very manly looking shirts, should you so desire.

i did not comment about the use of "sex" vs. "gender," that was garian,
and as such, i am sending this to the list, should garian want to
respond.  in the meantime, i can certainly answer your question as best
i can(as can a quick google search, i am sure).=20

here's the difference, in a nutshell:

sex -- is a biologically determined -- i.e. all that chromosonal stuff,
which genitalia you end up with, etc.  i won't get into intersexed
people because i know i'll lose you.

gender -- is a socially-constructed notion of what is feminine and what
is masculine -- for example, from a young age, girls are socialized to
believe that they should wear pink and play with dolls and not get dirty
simply because they are female.  so we tend to associate pink clothing
with being female.   =20

please don't make me go all judith butler on yer ass.  (who is judith
butler, right?)

whatever. sorry thats not love. and since you have a peeve with people
saying gender instead of sex feel free to explain what the differnce is.

i've been lucky enough to spend the past few hours listening to the all
we let in album on repeat on my day off.  (a very kind friend has lent
me an advance copy).  thank you, thank you.  :-)  let me precede my
little review by saying that i've purposely stayed away from getting to
know the acoustic, early versions of these songs, so they're totally
fresh to me.

and my first impressions are this is a good, punchy, upbeat, up-tempo
album.  i've just heard emily sing "summer's coming" from the song rise
up and that's a nice thing to be reminded of as i'm staring at the cold
and dark february clouds outside.

this certainly isn't an acoustic album, but it has a much better live,
open feel and sound than cons did, which i found too overproduced.
cordova, for example, sounds like we're in the studio with amy...you
hear her intake of breath and every nuance of the vocal.  very intimate.
and despite the simple organ, piano, bass arrangement, it really works.
there's an interesting pipe/wind instrument solo played on this song,
presumably by amy.  i look forward to reading the liner notes to find
out who plays what on this album.

i really hated tether when i listened to the download online, but it
really rocks through a proper stereo system.  i remember reading in the
biography that amy lends her hands to some lead guitars in this album.
i've been having fun trying to work out which parts are amy and which
parts are emily.  with that in mind, i can imagine this song to be
pretty amazing live in concert with a full band...duelling lead
guitars...wow!!  :-)  what sounds like the drumsticks being dropped or
thrown to the floor adds to the fun, live feel of the song too.

something's real keeps reminding me of heart - parts of the melody and
the oohs having some kind of echo/reverb effect.  but it's a good song
with some nice acoustic guitar fills.

heartache for everyone completely took me aback when i first heard
it...didn't expect to hear a ska sound on an ig album!  but once you get
over the shock, it is a fun song and i can foresee a lot of dancing and
singing along with the "oh, ah oh, ah oh" in concerts.

all that we let in is a standout song for me at the moment.  it's just
classic emily.  it's the equivalent of what deconstruction felt like in
by. hehe, even with similar usage of nature and animal imagery.  this
time it's birds, trees and wind.  in deconstruction, it was foxes and
fate in the breeze, etc, etc.

i really like dairy queen too, but don't have much to say.  i seem to
recall a fellow listee calling this song starkville 2 and i pretty much
agree with that.  it's a sad breakup song though, full of regret it
seems.  very good though.

fill it up again is a good start to the album.  it's very catchy and
lots of good harmonies to let us know that this is an ig album.  i find
free in you and perfect world a little insipid at the moment and then
album picks up after that again.

all in all, i think this album has a lot of potential - some instantly
accessible songs and others that will grow over repeated listenings.  i
sure know that this album will be in my stereo for weeks and months to
come.

i was driving around town last night, and bored with the topic of fresh air, i
flipped to another local public radio station, where i heard a fantastic
acoustic version of she's saving me (i think that was the one).  i was
thrilled!  and then after the song, i heard the girls speaking!  turns out,
this was a re-broadcast of last year's etown performance.  i only heard two
songs and the chit-chat between them, but i know there was supposed to be more
later in the show.  unfortunately, i had arrived where i was going, and i
didn't want to make my friend wait any longer for me.  if anyone has a copy of
this show and wouldn't mind sharing it with me, please let me know.  i have
stuff to offer in trade, although very little of my ig offerings are online
yet.

hi folks-
me and my partner are going for a committment ceremony (we would do the
marriage thing, but it would adversely affect our disability benefits, and
right now, since i can work and he cant, that just isnt an option, but many
non-gay disabled people dont get married in writing for the same reasons.)

he lives in mass - i'm in maine - it works for us. he proposed on 11/18
(which was my 30th b-day, and in the midst of getting horrid news about my
mother, and having my extended family attack me for bringing him to her
hospital room, and holding hands. my immediate family is surprisingly very
supportive.)

is it just me or have the anti gay forces gotten far more visceral in their
hatred? i mean - it is scary how people think my committment to jim is such
a sin, or some sort of radical queer political statement (the latter i am
not at all against, but it was not really meant to be that.) the whole
thing is just equality right? why are people so incensed with hatred for
two men supporting, loving and caring for each other

and there a good gay marriage listserv?

i second jason's feelings.  actually i thought when i saw all these digests that a
detailed discussion of massachusetts events had broken out.

on that topic, can someone give me a pointer to yesterday's failed state constitutional
amendments?

also, can someone explain to a canadian how the "defense of marriage" bill doesn't
violate the "full faith and favor" clause of the u.s. constitution?

internationally yours from a place that has gay marriage (in four of thirteen

http://www.state.ma.us/legis/journal/jsj021104.htm

this is the draft minutes from yesterday's two failed amendments.  notably, if i read this
correctly, all but one member was present and voted, and the second attempt failed by two
votes.

just received this from art menius at merlefest...

news for immediate release (kill date 5/2/2004)

merlefest 2004 adds indigo girls
lucinda williams headed to australia

wilkesboro, nc: merlefest organizers have announced that superstars indigo girls and noted north carolina rock band roman candle have joined the line-up for merlefest 2004, the 17th annual festival in celebration of the music of the late merle watson and his father doc watson, on its campus in wilkesboro, nc on april 29 may 2, 2004. lucinda williams has been released from her contract to perform at merlefest 2004 so that she can pursue a long awaited tour of australia in april.

best known for their smash hit “closer to fine,” indigo girls amy ray and emily saliers have played thousands of shows over two decades together and released eight studio albums. they've operated within the music industry, without ever being a product of that industry, gaining the respect of their peers, not to mention an extremely loyal fanbase. the indigo girls, appearing at merlefest on thursday, april 29, will treat their fans to a new album with the february 17, 2004 release of all that we let in, featuring six songs written by emily and five by amy. rolling stone called roman candle, a chapel hill band with wilkes county roots, “explosive new country darlings,” while cmj compared them to both cheap trick and ryan adams. they combine power-pop with singer-songwriter lyrics. roman candle, slated to perform on saturday, may 1, anticipates the hollywood records release of say pop in march.

those joining doc watson and merle’s son richard watson for merlefest 2004 will include the sam bush band, rosanne cash, john cowan band, the derailers, donna the buffalo, dry branch fire squad, bla fleck & edgar meyer, vince gill, the gourds, david grisman quintet, hot tuna, indigo girls, jeannie kendall, the kruger brothers, patty loveless, natalie macmaster, nickel creek, tim o’brien, mark o’connor’s hot swing trio, old crow medicine show, reeltime travelers, tony rice unit, savoy doucet cajun band, earl scruggs with family & friends, the waifs, gillian welch, and kelly willis & bruce robison.

those with internet access may acquire their tickets easily by visiting [ http://www.merlefest.org/ ]www.merlefest.org and, if purchasing assigned seats at the watson stage, actually pick their seat location on line. early bird ticket discounts are available until march 18. those without internet access may purchase tickets by calling 1-800-343-7857 (us only) or 336-838-6267 (non-us) from 10 am through 4 pm, est, weekdays. tickets may also be ordered by fax (336-838-6263) and mail (merlefest; p.o. box 120; wilkesboro, nc 28697). those interested in volunteering for merlefest should call 336-838-6292. vendor info: 336-838-*6291. sponsorship inquiries: 919-542-3997.

henry troup <htroup@bigfoot.com> asked:

>also, can someone explain to a canadian how the "defense of marriage" bill
>doesn't violate the "full faith and favor" clause of the u.s. constitution?

unfortunately doma is not merely a bill, but a full-fledged law.  and it
probably *does* violate "full faith and credit."  unfortunately, until a gay
couple marries in one state and is denied the rights accruing to marriage in
*another* state, no one has legal standing to mount a challenge to doma.
one of the reasons that the various proponents of the "marriage is for
straight people only" amendment want to amend the constitution is because
they know that doma won't hold water.

most t-shirts you see at a concert are like that, but then some bands sell
shirts cut with curves for the curvier bits on women. i bet most people
buy xl size unisex tees and not so much the "baby-doll" style ones because
most people feel you have to be skinny and curvaceous to pull that off.
so they probably just didn't have any left but those. i know for a fact
that ani normally sells normal shirts at her show, because i've bought
shirts at her shows and i would never buy a curvy-cut one.

wow   i don't think i have ever seen an artist have so many different types
of shirts for sale.  it's nice that she actually includes women when so many
artists just have unisex "haines" beefy t's aka men's t-shirts.

did anyone watch the c-span coverage of the gay marriage hearing in
mass? if so did you watch washington journal? a woman from hrc argued in
favor of it, and this dork from some right wing organization pushing for
the
constitution amendment.....he kept saying that
he had nothing against gays and lesbians, that
the amendment isn't about discrimination and it's not about bigotry or
gay people it's about marriage.....he was accused of talking around
the issues by a caller.....and he talked around it
again, i said to the tv screen...."awe come on
answer the f@#%ing question.''

the woman from hrc was brilliant and she made the guy eat his words from
his other appearances.  i didn't get to see the rest of
the haring in mass. though, so could someone
fill me in.

thanks.

imagine that...a 51 year marriage is called a sham!  read on

s. f. goes on gay-wed tear

news wire services

san francisco - massachusetts may be arguing over how to deal with gay
weddings, but san francisco officials decided to hold some yesterday, in defiance of
california law. city authorities officiated in dozens of same-sex weddings
and issued more than 100 marriage licenses.

jubilant gay couples lined up under city hall's ornate gold dome and
exchanged vows in two-minute ceremonies, one after another. "today a barrier to true
justice has been removed," said mayor gavin newsom.

no state legally sanctions gay marriage, but massachusetts' top court has
ordered the state to recognize same-sex weddings by mid-may, sparking a state
constitutional convention to try to make the weddings illegal.

legislators tried and failed for the second day yesterday to come up with
either a ban or a compromise short of marriage.

vermont recognizes civil unions, which carry most of the benefits of
marriage.

it remains unclear if san francisco's marriages will have any value, since
they break a law that defined marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

the nuptials began with longtime lesbian activists phyllis lyon, 79, and del
martin, 83, who were issued a license and wed just before noon. they have been
together for 51 years.

a conservative group called the marriages a sham.

"these unlawful certificates are not worth the paper they are printed on,"
said randy thomasson, head of campaign for california families.

the nuptials were more evidence the issue could play a role in the
presidential election.

yesterday, senate majority leader bill frist said the "wildfire" of gay
marriage would spread to all 50 states, and vowed the senate would try to stop it.
conservatives have said they expect president bush to back a constitutional
amendment.

i received an email today from virgin records informing me that the uk
release of all that we let in will not have the limited edition option.
this is what they said:

"regrettably, we have to inform you that epic, the band's record label,
have today informed us that they will not be producing copies of the
special edition version. this is for reasons known only to them, and is
completely beyond our control."

the amazon.co.uk site seems to support this too, with the imported us
limited edition version being available.  what a shame.  as it happens,
i ordered from amazon.com to try and get the digital locker contents and
despite it saying that international customers can't access the stream,
we can!  :-)  does anybody know if there's any way that we can save that
footage??

awe what a rip off! personally if i were living in the uk  and bought a
limited edition  for  the dvd i would not appreciate epic's decision!
that means that fans in the uk won't get  what
they paid for. right?  man!!!! glad i'm in th u.s..
you guys must be bummed-out big time.

i guess it really is a limited edition , afterall.

this is what i heard today from my supplier in the uk ....

"on receiving the indigo girls new release this morning we found that we had
no ltd.edition dvds.....we contacted the sony rep.who informed us that the
dvd had been cancelled about three days ago and would not now be coming
out.....ever!........i then got in touch with our importers who said they
were expecting the cd with the dvd to come in on monday from the
usa.......this is good news with the following provisos...

1. the dvd could be region 1 only....this means that it will not play on all
uk dvds which are set up to play region 2 discs only...except that some
players are ok with region 1 particularly the newer cheap ones which are
made in the far east and will play anything.....you should know if your
player can take region 1........having said that we are hoping that the dvd
will be multi-region as some music dvds are and which means of course that
it can be played anywhere in the world.......my contact is going to let me
know which type it is asap monday.

2. the import will be dearer.....it should be 16.99 but i've pulled a few
strings and i can sell it for 14.99 incl.p&p.......it's a shame as we had
such a great deal on the uk one with sony to sell it at 10.99 which of
course we can still do with the normal cd.

3. although the importer is expecting the dvd version for all we know it
could have been pulled in the states too so we can't say for definite until
monday whether it exists.

i assume you all want the dvd version if it is available and will work on
your players so i suggest that we hold tight until i have all the relevant
info. when i will be back in touch.....of course if you want to cancel or
are happy to have the normal cd @ 10.99 please let me know.

i know this is very dissapointing for you as it is for me particularly as
many of you are dealing with us for the first time."

i'm thinking that the issue isn't so much epic failing to produce the
dvd as promised(because i've received confirmation from both sony and
tower records that my cd & bonus dvd are in the mail and i am in the
us), but because it was too costly to produce dvds for anything but
region 1 players.  just a guess.

hi all,

i can capture the video footage alright... they do have a nifty security
feature on the sound though but i can bypass that, too, i guess, ... i'll
fumble around with it some more

if someone needs to have the stream saved because they can't get the
dvd (the dvd is still the much much muuuuch better choice, since the
stream isn't anywhere near dvd quality), you can drop me a line about
it and i'll try and help you out

be well,

i'm at a loss. even with my brother getting connected right away, the best he could still get were seats 301-302, row l, balcony 1. i just don't get it. do they not release any good seats at all for the pre-sale??? will there be better seats available tomorrow when the "regular tickets" go on sale? does wxrt have all the good seats? do the fans that get those seats just pay scalpers? how do the scalpers get those seats? sorry for the ranting questions, but i truly do not get it.
trying to stay positive, b/c in the long run it really doesn't matter; i'm very happy to be going to another ig concert. it's just that i really would like to sit in good seats at least once in my life!
peace,
michele

wait - region encoding is actually really easy to overcome from a
production standpoint - annoying (esp since my fave film is impossible to
find in r1, ) but it would make a ton more sense if it were a pal vs. ntsc
issue, because you'd have double the production costs - rendering the film
in ntsc and pal....

i might be wrong (...had to throw in a random music quote in there - props
if you can identify the band)

apparently not because someone else posted an email they received from a
vendor explaning that the only dvds they could distribute were indeed
region 1.

not stupid at all...

the first edition (aka limited) will have the dvd in the us, not uk...much
like what many other major label acts (metallica did it last yr, actually,
the dvd was better than the cd)

if you buy it from a store @ www.the-ird.com, you can get a four song (i
think 4, maybe 3) ep,

on itunes and rhapsody there are "ep's" for fill it up again and perfect
world...well a live version of perfect world from bottom line which can be
ripped from the dvd - or the bootleg circulating...

i am thrilled that the ig are doing this - moby, metallica (ok, the album
wasnt wonderful, but the dvd was and the live mp3s were worth the 12 bucks
for what amounted to a full box set of material), dmb (with busted stuff,
which was an awesome teaser for the dvd of folsom fields, too bad they
didnt just release the music choice gorge special :)  damn - it is sad when
i know the good boots from like every semi big band out there - and it
scares my friends when they try and track down boots for me...)

why did they not do this 12 years ago (a nice bonus live cd with ghost
would have saved me alot of $$$, and c'mon how many people didn't get any
of the major songs the first time they saw them live???? i got a lightening
storm and women going a la woodstock into the mud - without shirts, i laugh
- that was a horrible show - but i loved it!!!!!-

ummm...yeah whatever...

don't give up on good seats.  i'd definitely try tomorrow.  you can at
least see what seats you get before paying for them.  i got row p all
the way on the side in the orch section today and am sure i was in
instantly.  try again tomorrow.  there's no way they released all the
good seats.

i hate presales.  i wish i understood how the brokers get all the row
aaa seats in front.  it baffles me.  only time i've ever gotten 1st or
second row on my own was via waiting in line at the box office and that
was only because it was a little known, added second show.  the whole
industry is a huge scam.  now i'll stop ranting.  good luck in the

i tried posting a response to michelle's original post earlier, but it =
kept bouncing back.

brokers generally have inside connections -- with someone at the venue, =
with promoters, or with someone at ticketmaster.  promoters usually get =
a bunch of great seats (for free) to shows in advance (i know this =
because a high school pal's folks owned a major beverage distribution =
company and any event that budweiser sponsored, they scored prime seats =
for)  and they sell them to brokers for a profit.  then the brokers =
charge even more for them.  you never really experience this with =
smaller, local venues that handle their own ticketing -- only with the =
larger, corporate-sponsored places. =20

just to claer up one more thing -- the free sampler is already at most of the ird stores.  you don't need to get the cd there (though you can on the 17th and supporting independent music stores is good) to get the free sampler.  just print out the coupon here:  http://www.the-ird.com/ and bring it into the closest ird store to you.

dee, yup, i hear you... i have a few copies from various sources on order too, and if they don't arrive by monday, i'm going to a store that's open till midnight to grab another copy because i can't wait to see the dvd (though i wish "tether" was included, because that stupid amazon stream does not do it justice! ;) ).

i had to share a tale of woe with thos ewho would appreciate it.  i didn't
look closely enough at the chicago seating and made a grave error.  i was
waiting and in on a super high-speed connection as soon as tix went up for
the show.  ee came up and, in my faulty memory, i was thinking that was pit
seating.  240 dollars later, i see we're in the back of the auditorium.
since i'm pretty obsessive about getting good seats and, i'm fairly spoiled
about tix.  i'm very very sad......

everyone,

i have a single ticket for the wilmingon show
available.  i will be traveling for work (chicago) and
am sick that i cannot go to this show after it's been
rescheduled twice.

to make it worse, this is a better ticket that i
fought with the opera house dude about.  i was
originally behind the pole by the soundboard, but was
able to trade it in, and now it's in the balcony.

the seat location is dress high row b seat 6, and if
i'm interpreting the seating chart correctly it's in
the center portion of the balcony, 2nd row.

face value is $35, first come, first served.  if you
live in the baltimore/dc area i can maybe meet up with
you to give you the ticket, or i'll send it through
regular mail.  i hope someone out there can use it!
thanks,

sue

it's called ozilline and it's on the album come on now social.
here are the lyrics.

http://www.indigogirls.com/lyrics/byalbum/social.html#ozilline

hope that helps! (unless you're talking about some other newer song i
don't know about...  :) )

i think that the song lazy boy from amy's solo album stag was also
inspired by her grandmother, wasn't it? it was about her chair? i seem to
recall amy saying something like that at the stag show i saw.

i ran over to my local ird store this afternoon and picked up the
sampler.

it made my valentine's day... not only cause its a cool freebie... but
b/c
its contains live recordings of the amazing fillmore shows
(otherwise known to me as the two best ig shows i've ever attended...)

so check it out if you can. if you are an east bay type... mod lang on
university @ shattuck in berkeley has copies and is super friendly.

and those of you who are dying to see it...
http://thinkradical.org/igsampler.html

its a bad scan, but i was in a rush... nothing glamorous, just the
front and back.
feel free to open the images in another window or download them. they
are much bigger than they appear.
and go ahead and post them other places, i can't afford too much
bandwidth ;)
