ok, so i was watching one life to live, like i do
every day (i know, it's sad) and there are these kids
sitting around discussing "chick bands".  the bangles
were mentioned, and then this girl was asked to name a
"chick band".  she said indigo girls, and then there
was some discussion as to whether or not they were in
fact a "chick band".  i believe the consensus was that
they were not a "chick band" even though they were a
band made up of "chicks".  regardless of all of the
issues the ensuing conversation brings up, i thought
it was kinda cool that they mentioned them.

tickets for the northampton show are onsale now
through iheg.com.  i just got third row center
tickets, so there are still plenty of great seats
left.  and the best thing, the website lets you choose
your specific seats.  really cool.
