obviously emily was just under the weather in austin because in dallas the
next night she was amazing, the best i've heard her in years.  high energy,
riffing on the songs, laughing and hollering.  it was great.  they actually did
virginia woolf!  and i ran into amy before the show and requested tether, which
they did as part of the encore - such a beautful, powerful song.  saw sully
and asked her if she could get watershed on the set list for a friend of mine
and that was also successful, so while the show wasn't exactly the old "be first
in line and choose the set list" show of old, it was pretty close for us!
