i'm at a game night at a local coffeehouse and they have cable on their tv's
with radio stations. and we are playing a game like clue, except everyone
is trying to kill a "doctor lucky".
i hear a familiar voice and tune, and then i recognized amy singing "perfect
world". it instantly perks me up, and i restrain myself from bursting
into musical like form, "and at this moment we are denying what it costs,
what it takes, for one perfect world, when we look the other way..."
love and peace,
diane

hey y'all,
tickets for the ig show at the crystal ballroom (portland, or) on 26 januar=
y
went on sale today.
there is an alternative to ticketmaster and their outrageous fees ($8+ per
ticket plus all of those handling fees). the show is a benefit for habitat
for humanity, and you can buy your tickets (fee-free!) directly from
habitat: http://www.pdxhabitat.org/aboutus/news.php?id=3d58 .
we were so pleased to see that we could save ourselves over $30 in fees and
service charges earlier today.
see some of you at the show! :)

ah's service on saturday. i will be sure to respond to your emails in time=
when i can (if i haven't already). but, thank you to everyone for your ki=

i wanted also inform everyone that last night i went to jodie's parents hou=
se and was able to rescue our cats who were staying in a back room at their=
house. we believed they had survived, someone spotted on of our kittie bo=
ys yesterday morning, and last night i found them both in the room where th=
ey were staying. it had been virtually untouched by the fire thanks to a c=
losed door that separated them from the blazing fire that consumed the rest=
of the house and all other living beings within. we have some comfort in =
recovering our beloved cats, who will be 9 in march.
also, there is a 'guestbook' located on legacy.com which is a site where pe=

subject: sigc: rudy-great christmas song
mime-version: 1.0

i was doing some last minute shopping today and i heard a great song on the
tower records sound system in sherman oaks today.
i asked at the counter and found a customer there ahead of me doing the same
thing, we were told the song was called "rudy" by the be good tanyas. it was
on a christmas cd called maybe this christmas too.
i bought the cd and i fell in love with the song. it is an acoustic song
about a homeless guy stuck in georgetown during christmas. it was beautiful and
really sad. it had an ig feel to me lyrically. check it out if you get the
chance.
i don't mean to offend diane w. but does anyone else feel left out of the ig
card exchange besides me? i sent two emails and i've heard nothing back! i've
had to improvise...
