i'm from colorado and now live in california. back in 1997, i heard ig did a version of "shame on you" on a radio station made cd. one of my brothers was kind enough to send me a copy of that release, volume 9 of kbco studio c, a cd the station puts out every year that features performances recorded live on the air. proceeds benefit a colorado aids charity.

he has been sending me the volumes every year and this year, he sent me volume 17, the one that features "closer to fine". i was looking through the liner notes and i spotted two interesting things, emily's songwriting credit and a typo!!!

emily is credited as emily ann saliers, that is the first time i've seen her full name on an album liner note. somewhere in the same credit, i spotted a typo!

see if you can spot the typo. i would offer to make this a contest and offer a prize to the first person who spots it, but i have no ig prize to give out this year!

see if you can spot it and either email it here or email me privately!

happy holidays!

there have been quite a few emails that did not get to me with the holiday
card exchange.  even with checking my junk mail faithfully every day after i
put out the notice regarding the cards, i had email that never reached me.
i suspect that hotmail servers work erratically.

i'm sorry tom that you did not get to participate.  it will be safe to say
that i will never host the holiday card exchange again.  people are so
sensitive, and even when i try to explain the fact that i did not get their
emails (because i did send a confirmatory email to everyone's information i
did get), they still flamed me on this list publicly.

have a very merry christmas and a happy 2006.

hey y'all...
i just wanted to pop off a quick e-mail to say happy holidaying and enjoy the new year festivitiness. yeah, i know. festivitiness isn't really a word but i tend to create my own as i go and it's working for me at the moment.
i'm really excited to have found the addy for the ig list & rejoin. i havn't been part of it for about seven years. here's hoping it's as fun as it used to be. is there still a mister limes thingy. do some of y'all still have fun rewriting the lyrics to amy and emily's songs? (good ol' chartrues girls).i'm curious to know if any of the ol' original members still subscribe and post and if you do, do you remember (or in some cases try to forget :-d) me: kim, goddess in her own reality????
happy to be here... hope to hear from somebody... anybody...

i have to comment that the internest that i have now, who i believe is straight as well as my former internest who is a lesbian, and another former male doctor, aal of them like ig.  i was only thinking about it because i say my current doctor and told her about the benefit concert for habitat for humanity.  i thought it wasd kind of cool to be able to discuss something like that with my doctor.

with that in all mind, what if i could make a deal with someone with a  picture or two :)  i will find something that will rock your boat.  or in other words you should like.  i can't by it now because the market is not open, but you will like it, trust me. i would like to give it to my to favorite doctors, one former, who both like ig.

i also have to say i am bummed because my dad was willing to lay down $60 for two tickets for that show, but since it is on a thursday and i have school on friday in morning, the concept of going is a no go :(

  peace and gratitude to all.

thanks for the cards and pictures, for those who did remember me.
