i just caught a promo of a special coming up on logo called
"quintessentially queer cinema" and a 2-second clip of amy, sitting
with emily, saying "showgirls is awesome." ha!

it's probably like those "i love the 80s" shows on vh1, where famous
people, comedians, actors, whatever, talk about movies with gay themes
and why they love them. on the description on tivo it says "movies
discussed include thelma & louise, a streetcar named desire, cabaret,
valley of the dolls and hedwig and the angry inch. and obviously
showgirls, since that's what amy was saying in the little clip. looks
like it's showing 12/4, 12/5 and 12/6 with more dates to be added,
probably.
