(that's quasi indigo girls content, coined by me, the law student halfway
through her final exams, where everything is quasi this and latin mumbo
jumbo that...)
in my efforts to procrastinate studying for my finals i spend a lot of time
online, blogging, sifting through the 864 emails lurking around my inbox
that suddenly need attention right now, etc. so today as i blogged in my
usual rambling manner i suddenly found indigo girls lyrics peculiarly
relevant to my current life and my imminent torts final....
if you have nothing and i mean nothing better to do, have a look!
http://lindanapikoski.blogspot.com/2006/12/four-calling-birds-of-prey-or-these.html
(p.s. i don't really mean this to be a shameless plug of my blog. trust me,
i blog about the girls and quote their lyrics all the time. hardly would i
post to the list just to tell you that! this time i really was intrigued by
the applicability of mystery to "justice" and of least complicated to law
school as well as elementary school and the school that = life.)
yours in indigo procrastination,
~linda~

hi, it's me again. still procrastinating. also listening to "tried to be
true" over and over, due to some interpersonal relationshipness in my life.
so, what is amy saying about 2:15 into the song (according to windows media
player) after the chorus, going into the guitar solo? this is not the first
one, where she says something like "make it true, now." no, i refer to the
second one. like this:
it's after,"did we try, try to be true?" they go back and forth with some
"what separates me from you now"s and then it sounds like amy does two "it
separates me..." to which emily responds with more "what separates me from
you now"
amy -it separates me from you now.
emily - (what separates me from you now?)
amy - it separates me from you.
emily -(what separates me from you now?)
amy, spoken-like - [???]
it sounds like "it's true" or possibly "miss you?" or maybe something else
entirely, who knows?
please advise!
so clearly going to fail my final tomorrow morning,
~linda~
