I have it on my tivo still-cmon over. :)

I am trying to figure out how to sync up my tivo and computer.  Hope to
figure it out this week so I'll drop a line and throw it on my myspace page.
Just discovered myspace--I'm always like a year behind in what everyone
else is doing.  Hope you find it beforehand and don't have to rely on my
technological knowledge.

It's one of my pet peeves, as well.  A good outlet for musician  interviews
is etown.  etown is a nationally syndicated radio variety show  that airs in
many markets (go to _www.etown.org_ (http://www.etown.org)  for more info).
There are  two musical guests each week, both of whom are interviewed.  IG were
on  once back in 2002.

.
. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. About the only time  it ever
happened consistently was on MTV's "120 Minutes" or maybe when Jon  Stewart
had his MTV talk show. About all you get now is "Storytellers"  where you
get a couple of sentences about the meaning of a song, but even  that's not
a conversation. We need "The Good Old Days" of Tom Snyder, Dick  Cavett, the
early "Tonight Show" where the segments were longer. Even Mike  Douglas
talking to Janis Joplin about "a great new singer named Tina  Turner" was
better than what you get now (which is nothing). I'd just as  soon hear a
songwriter talk about what's on their mind than an actor talk  about their
European vacation. At least Charlie Rose is an actual  conversation (but his
problem is he does all the talking -- if only Brian  Lamb interviewed
musicians!). Travis Smiley does talk to musicians and has  a performance as
well.

Lettermen likes to talk to Pete Townshend whenever he has the chance.   (Pete
is one of Paul's idols.)

This is  indeed the most annoying thing about these shows. They spend minutes

talking about complete airhead crap with movie stars but the musical  guests
barely get time to play their songs. I wonder how much it has to do  with
whether or not the host likes the band (obviously not the case with  Ellen
and IG). I've seen Leno talk to both Stevie Nicks and Tori Amos for  a bit
after their performances, but I've seen him not talk to other  guests. It's a
mysterious and frustrating  situation.

Because it originates on Philadelphia's WXPN, I am still partial to the World Cafe. In addition to artists I know and love, hearing the interview sessions sometimes sparks my interest in someone I never liked before, or had never heard of.
