a pretty good sounding recording of a neat songwriter showcase, highlights include amy covering "tired of talkin" (a gerard mchugh song) and also an incredible early version of "problem child" (later to evolve into "go").

a really good recording of an amazing night, over two hours of music, including amy and emily guesting with michelle malone and band de soleil on a 12+ minute "cortez the killer" (the guitar solos on this are incredible), an 11+ minute "chickenman", michelle malone guesting on "wild horses", and "touch me fall" combined with patty smith's "free money".

an okay sounding recording of a really terrific show, including ferron sitting in on an amazing "it won't take long", a 16+ minute "chickenman", and a 13+ minute "touch me fall".

a really good sounding recording of a very neat show, including sandy garfinkel lending his harmonica to "nashville", "power of two" "chickenman", and "bartender's blues", a really terrific "tried to be true", and a quintessential performance of "joking", including some amazing guitar work from emily. even though they are cut, a 13+ minute "chickenman" and a 11+ minute "touch me fall" are also highlights.

1995-04-19: memorial auditorium - burlington, vermont
this is a really good recording of a great show, amy and emily guest with michelle malone and band de soliel for a 12+ minute renditon of "cortez the killer", complete with stream of conscious lyrics from amy and some incredible guitar work by emily, other standouts include a 15 minute "touch me fall", again with soc lyrics from amy and some great guitar work from emily, and gail ann dorsey sitting in on "tried to be true" and "midnight train to georgia". highly recommended.

another really good sounding recording of this show, amy has a great line in the lead up to "the wood song", "all right, back to more obscure things" (was right after they and gail ann dorsey played an amazing "wild horses).

a pretty good sounding recording of a great show, "tried to be true" and "language or the kiss" are standouts.

a really nice sounding recording of another great show, includes a 24+ minute "touch me fall"/"cortez the killer" with michelle malone and band de soliel and some really amazing guitar and cello work. gail ann dorsey also guests on "tried to be true", "kid fears", and "midnight train to georgia". highly recommended.

an excellent recording of a terrific show, with just a little distortion on the very loud parts. amy and emily are both chatty, the intros to "reunion" and "virginia woolf" are especially funny, and the guitar and the cello work during the 14+ minute "touch me fall" are incredible. also has "wild horses" with michelle malone, and at 17+ minute chickenman.

a pretty good recording of a neat show, in addition to a 18+ minute "chickenman" and a 14+ minute "touch me fall" (both with stream of conscious lyrics), gail ann dorsey guests on "midnight train to georgia", "dead man's hill" is especially intense, and in between two attempts at "watershed" is an impromptu cover of elton john's "holiday inn".

an okay sounding recording of a neat show, with a 17+ minute "touch me fall", including stream of conscious lyrics from amy and some great guitar work from emily.

a pretty good sounding recording of a great benefit appearance, includes a 17+ minute "chickenman" with stream of conscious lyrics from amy and an amazing guitar solo from emily, and a really neat "southern man" with kristen hall.

a really good recording of the last show before a nine month break in touring. the set list has a lot of covers, including "it won't take long" (with ferron), "don't think twice, it's all right" (with joan baez), "bury my heart at wounded knee", and "down by the river" (it takes amy two tries to get the lyrics right). also a really beautiful "love's recovery".
