"and of course, the bonus track? everything was challenging! (laughs) the bonus track, "j'aurais voulu" was like, "oh god, my french sucks! but i'm going to do this anyway."

"yeah, i got a french speaker's help on the syntax. i don't get embarrassed very easily. i've always wanted to sing in french. it's such a beautiful language and i just said, "you know what? i'm just gonna do it." so, at the risk of grossing a bunch of french-speaking people out, i did it. but yeah, there were challenges all along the way."
