13. sister-- amy said that half was written in georgia and half going home from austin. the "bloody beast of burden" is a big dead cow that she saw on the side of the road that someone had hit by a car and it really affected her (hello-- cats on fire... poor animals). she also said that she got to a campsite late at night and the people that had been there had left the fire going "just for me!" and since it was 3am already, she didn't think they'd be back, which turned out to be the case. amy said, "i totally scored!" it was really cute.
